When clients walk through Phyllis’ door, they immediately realize they are in a judgement-free and trusting place where hope and reaching their potential can happen; what they’ve been searching for. Phyllis’ approach through Coaching is strength-based, solution-focused and collaborative. She invests in others and empowers them to invest in themselves.

A main area of Phyllis’ expertise is partnering with teens, young adults and adults who struggle with ADHD and Executive Function challenges (ADHD/EF or ADHD/EF-like symptoms). Her weekly coaching sessions focus on working together with clients to design a roadmap of strategies and systems that work for their specific brain wiring. She also helps them recognize when limiting beliefs and negativity bias get in the way of success which is often evidenced by perfectionism and chronic procrastination. Phyllis is inspired to witness her clients’ newly found strengths and belief in themselves in ways they couldn’t imagine before coaching. Through her partnership, commitment and education, clients realize that with the right tools, ADHD can be an asset.

Another passion of Phyllis’ is Parent and Co-Parent coaching. Through powerful open-ended questions and exploration, parents get clear on their parenting values and roles with the intention of raising healthy-minded, capable, and confident children. Parents can count on Phyllis’ coaching guidance to individualize their approaches to help get to the root of their child’s challenges and create an environment where their family can thrive. Whether coaching parents of children with ADHD/EF, or parents going through separation and divorce, her empathetic approach and deep knowledge helps parents feel comforted and in good hands.

Phyllis’ extensive background of over 29 years as a social worker, therapist, consultant, trainer and public speaker in the fields of mental health, private and public education, combined with her specialized training in ADHD, Executive Function and Life Coaching, uniquely enables her to guide others to make positive and lasting change. Phyllis earned a BSW in Social Work, certification in School Social Work and M.Ed. in Psychoeducational Processes from Temple University. She received her specialized training in ADHD and Life Coaching from ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA).

Phyllis is a member of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), International Federation of Coaching (ICF), Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD) and Specialist of Schools (SOS).
