Mary Joan Walheim holds a Masters degree in pastoral counseling from Neumann College and a certificate of study in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a licensed professional counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mary Joan has been certified as a professional chaplain supporting patients with critical health issues in several area hospitals and has been certified by the Association of Death Education Counseling.
She serves on the ethics committee of an area hospital and has taught physicians, residents, interns and masters level student's ethics and issues at the end of life. She has been a hospice bereavement counselor
